Fruit salad

°3 cups of orange juice
°1 teaspoon grated orange zest
°3 tablespoons of honey or maple syrup
°Half a kilo of strawberries
°1 cup of cubed melon
°1 cup grapes
°1 cup of pineapple pieces
°1 apple
°2 kiwi pieces
°Half a cup of pomegranate
°1 mango
°1 banana
°Half a cup of berries
Step 1
Rinse and drain all of the fruit well. Air dry or pat it dry with paper towels. Peel and cut all the fruits into bite size, making sure they are all the same size. Cut the grapes into halves if they are large. If using canned pineapple, strain the juice before using. Chop the banana and apple at the very end before adding it to the salad. In a large mixing bowl, combine orange juice, orange peel, and honey.
Step 2
Fruits such as strawberry, melon, grapes, pineapple, kiwi, apple, pomegranate and heart are added. Add mango and banana and stir gently. Top with raspberries and carefully incorporate into the salad. Refrigerate for 2 to 3 hours before serving. If letting it rest overnight, add bananas and berries 1 to 2 hours before serving. Add some mint leaves to your salad or use as a garnish, if you prefer.
