INDIAN FRYBREAD

Traditional Indian Fried Bread is a flat dough bread, fried, that magically puffs up like little pillows of happiness! Made with simple ingredients, this delicious, authentic fried bread can be eaten on its own or with different toppings such as butter, honey, or jam, or sprinkled with cinnamon sugar.
I can honestly say that this recipe is a dream come true! Not only is it super easy to make, but if you’re a carb lover like me…the only thing better than fresh homemade bread…is fried bread!
* Ingredients
° 3 cups flour
° 2 teaspoons of baking powder
° 1/2 teaspoon salt
° 1 1/2 cups hot water
° frying oil
* Instructions :

In a bowl, add flour, baking powder and salt and mix well
Add hot water and stir with a spoon. The dough will be sticky.
Form into a ball and leave covered for 45 minutes
Divide the dough into 12-16 balls
Using your palm and fingertips, press each dough into a circle and using your fingertips into a thin, round circle about 4-5 inches in diameter
Heat the oil in a frying pan over medium/high heat or a quick frying pan over a frying pan until “hot”
Adding one piece of bread at a time to hot oil also simmer TO golden brown, and flip. About a min on each side *Variable for how hot oil is heated.
Removing it from the oil & let it drying on paper towels.
