°500 grams of lean ground beef.
°1 medium onion, diced.
°1 medium green bell pepper, cut into cubes.
°2 ribs of celery, cut into cubes.
°8 oz can. tomato sauce.
°6 ounce can of tomato paste.
°2 tablespoons of Worcestershire sauce.
°4 crushed garlic cloves.
°1 tablespoon brown sugar.
°1 teaspoon of salt.
°1 teaspoon ground mustard.
°1/2 tsp. 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper.
°8 hamburger buns.
The first step
Cook ground beef and yellow onion together in a large saucepan over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally, until meat is tender and cooked through. This should take about 10 minutes.
The second step
Once you have removed the excess fat from the pan, return it to the heat.
Add the celery, bell pepper, tomato sauce, tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, brown sugar, salt, red pepper flakes, and mustard powder. Stir to mix.
The fourth step
Bring the liquid to a boil, then reduce the heat to medium-low. Let it boil for 15 to 30 minutes. How crispy you want the vegetables to be determines how long they should be cooked for.
