Strawberry Brownies



1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
1 cup granulated sugar
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 cup strawberry preserves

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9-inch square baking pan with parchment paper.
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the melted butter and sugar until well combined.
Add the eggs and vanilla extract, and whisk until fully incorporated.
Add the salt, flour, and cocoa powder to the bowl, and stir until the mixture is just combined.
Pour the batter into the prepared pan, and smooth the surface with a spatula.
Spoon the strawberry preserves on top of the batter, and swirl them in with a knife.
Bake the brownies in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Let the brownies cool in the pan for 10-15 minutes, then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.
Cut the brownies into squares, and serve.
