Chapati is an unleavened daily Indian bread also called roti. Bread made from special flour that can be replaced with whole wheat flour.
°1 cup flour (250 ml)
°Half a teaspoon of salt
°1 tablespoon vegetable oil
Pour the flour into a bowl. Add salt and vegetable oil.
Mix and add water gradually until you get a soft dough.
Spray the bowl with vegetable oil and roll the dough into a ball. Cover with a tea towel and cutlery. Leave it to rest for 10 minutes.
Heat the pan and prepare a small bowl of flour. Shape small balls.
Using a rolling pin, start rolling the dough as finely as possible.
Place the pie on the hot skillet. You will notice small bubbles, prepare the pie. Do not cook for too long or the pie will freeze and not puff up.
Place the galette on the grill and set it over the fire (on high heat).
Remove from heat and brush with ghee (or butter).
Mmmmm spicy taste is very good.
