Clap end for the royal couple’s tour. Since June 23, King Felipe VI of Spain and his wife Queen Letizia have scoured Spain and its islands. For several weeks, the royal couple crossed the country to support the restoration of social, economic and civic activity after the epidemic of Coronavirus which struck the population. It was therefore after two weeks of traveling that the two parents returned home to Madrid.

After enjoying the family weekend, King Felipe VI of Spain and Queen Letizia went to a new official event on Monday July 6, this time with their two daughters, aged 14 and 13. The two parents, Princess Leonor and the Infanta Sofia went to the Almudena Cathedral to attend a tribute to the victims of the Coronavirus. It must be said that Spain is one of the ten countries that know the most victims because of the pandemic, with more than 28,000 people dead, according to the latest reports.

Protective masks for all
It is precisely to pay tribute to these thousands of people that the Spanish Prime Minister, Pedro Sanchez, had announced that a tribute would be organized. Exit the colorful dresses she wore a few days earlier, this time Queen Letizia was all dressed in black, just like the tribute of May 27th. The 47-year-old sovereign wore a flowing blouse with long sleeves, tucked into a knee-length pencil skirt. The two teenage girls were also dressed in black dresses, and wore matching ballet flats, while their mother wore a pair of pumps. For the occasion, the whole family wore protective masks, surgical, and posed in front of the photographers on the square of the cathedral, before going to attend the ceremony, in the front row.
