Chicken Spaghetti


Ingredients to make Spaghetti with chicken:

2 pieces of chicken breasts

500 grams of Spaghetti (7.63 oz)

1 piece of roasted and peeled red bell pepper

1 large onion, chopped

2 cloves of garlic chopped without the green part

500 grams of canned tomatoes, blended or pureed

1 teaspoon of sweet paprika

250 milliliters of broth

1 piece of chopped leek white (reserve the leaves)

1 piece of chopped green onions

1 dash of oil for frying

1 pinch of salt

1 pinch of black pepper (grinded)

2 bay leaves

1 tablespoon of chopped Parsley (reserve the stems)


How to make Spaghetti with chicken:

Take a saucepan, add water with salt to taste, and put it on the fire. When it reaches boiling point, lower the temperature a little and introduce the chicken breasts with the green leaves of the leek, the bay leaf, and the parsley stalks.

When cooked, remove the chicken breasts from the pan and shred them. Set aside for later and strain the broth, which should also be set aside.

To continue with the chicken spaghetti recipe, it is time to boil the pasta in a saucepan with water and salt to taste.

While the Spaghetti is cooking, take a pan with oil and sauté the onion, the red bell pepper, the white part of the leek, the green onion, and the garlic, all finely chopped. When you observe that the onion becomes transparent, add the shredded chicken, the broth with the sweet paprika dissolved in it, the tomato, and the bay leaf.
