PARTY CHEESE BREAD INGREDIENTS NEEDED:
— 1 lb (ca. 454 g) Monterey jack or cheddar cheese, thin slices.
— 1/2 c butter, melted.
— 2 Tbsp lemon juice.
— 1 1/2 tsp garlic powder.
— 1/2 tsp celery salt.
— 2 Tbsp dijon mustard or regular mustard.
— 1/2 tsp onion powder.
— 1 lb round loaf sourdough bread.
PARTY CHEESE BREAD INSTRUCTIONS RECIPE:
In a small bowl, add the butter, lemon juice, mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, and celery salt. Mix all the ingredients.
Cut bread like you see in the pic above. Slices to within 1/2 in. of the bottom of the loaf. Using your fingers, arrange cheese slices in cuts. Drizzle butter mixture over bread. That’s look easy, but fun.
Wrap the loaf with foil, and place on a baking sheet for baking(350 °F (ca. 177 °C)) for 20 minutes. Unwrap and bake for about 5 to 10 minutes longer, or until cheese is melted.
