Stuffed Cabbage Rolls

The real deal, inspired by my family’s Polish recipe, is the easiest way to make the best stuffed cabbage rolls. Rice and lean beef are stuffed with fresh cabbage leaves and then cooked in a delicious sweet tomato sauce.
The perfect one-pot dinner that fits perfectly in the freezer!
I have a lot of memories of food when I was young. Things like vegetable soup, pickled eggs…. stuff my grandfather used to make all along. I remember him walking around the kitchen for hours on end, sitting in the kitchen watching all the action. I’m not really sure I would like anything he was making… Am i right ?
Like fried cabbage and stuffed cabbage rolls…or halobuki…..that’s what we call them. (Or Golabki or Galumpkis….because I know people who call them too!)

* Ingredients:

° 1 head of cabbage
° 2 pounds minced meat
° 2 grated onions
° 1 cup rice
° Salt, pepper, coriander
° tomato sauce
° Quince 1 piece

* Directions :

Step 1:

Boil cabbage, mix meat, onions, rice, salt, pepper, chopped coriander.

Step 2:

Take a leaf of cabbage, put the minced meat and roll it into cabbage rolls. Put the cabbage rolls in a saucepan, cover with a plate, put quince slices on top of the rolls, pour tomato sauce.

Step 3:

Cook until tender.
