Slow Cooker Salsa Chicken

Ingredients

  • 4 Skinless Chicken Breasts (cleaned and trimmed)
  • 1 16oz Jar of Green Mountain Gringo Mild Salsa (but any kind is fine!)
  • ⅓ Cup Water
  • 1½ TB Dried Parsley
  • ½ TB Dried Cilantro
  • 1 Tsp Onion Powder
  • 1 Tsp Garlic Powder
  • ½ TB Dried Oregano
  • ½ Tsp Smoked Paprika
  • ½ Tsp Cumin
  • 1 Tsp Chili Powder
  • ¼ Tsp Black Pepper

 

Preparation Method

  1. Place the chicken in the bottom of the slow cooker.
  2. Then add your salsa, water, and spices. Give it a mix.
  3. Place the cover on and cook on low for 6-7 hours (or until the chicken is cooked through).
