POTATO, BACON AND CORN CHOWDER..

ingredients:
6 large potatoes diced
4 corn cobs
Chicken stock (Aprox 1 litre)
Salt/pepper
Cream (aprox 1 cup)
Fried/diced bacon to finish
Spring onion sliced (garnish)
Method:
(I did this in my slow cooker but can also be done on stovetop)
Put potatoes and corn cobs in slow cooker or pot with enough liquid chicken stock to cover
potatoes,
Cook until potatoes are soft, cut Corn Kernels off cob and return them to pot (discard husks)
Stir in a cup of cream and season to taste.
Garnish with fried bacon and sliced green spring onions
